BOSTON -- The Bruins made a successful return from the All-Star break Tuesday night, coming back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Ottawa Senators 4-3, at TD Garden.
Dennis Seidenberg scored the winning goal in the third period on a low slap shot from center ice -- yes, center ice -- that snuck under the blocker of Senators goaltender Craig Anderson and went in off the left post, breaking a 3-3 tie.
The B's had jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first period on a Zdeno Chara power-play blast from the point, but then allowed three straight Ottawa goals -- two in the second period -- in falling behind, 3-1.
