The Bruins are getting ready for an 11-day, six-game road trip and have made several minor moves to ensure theyll have the players necessary in case of emergency.
The Bs called up defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk on Monday morning prior to morning practice at TD Garden, and promoted journeyman forward Josh Hennessy in the hours following practice. Hennessy will skate with the team Tuesday morning in anticipation of their game against the New York Rangers, but theres no word on whether hell be in the lineup.
CSNNE.com reporter Danny Picard was the first to report the news via his Twitter account.

Hennessy leads the P-Bruins with 15 goals scored on the season and is second on the team with 30 points in 49 games. With Nathan Horton on the shelf with a concussion, the Bs had been fielding a roster with the bare minimum 12 forwards after sending Zach Hamill back down to the AHL earlier this month.
Hennessy, a Rockland, Mass. native and Milton Academy alum, will likely fill in with the Bs as a spare forward until management decides their plan of attack with the NHL trade deadline looming in two weeks.
