It's become a reality-TV world, with a smart phone, twitter account or tabloid always on the ready to document and disseminate any and all infractions of niceness. Bill Belichick hasn't adjusted, according to the New York Post:

What's the worth in all this?
1) It shows both sides do care about this rivalry -- it's not "just another game," or however the wheel of denial spins.
2) It provides each fan base fire: our coach is a bad ass!
3) It gives the Nanny Brigade something over which to have a good cry.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our reality-TV world.
