For the third time in as many seasons, Jayson Tatum is headed to the NBA All-Star Game representing the Boston Celtics.

Tatum, who turns 24 on March 3, is headed for Cleveland in the midst of Boston's best stretch in more than two seasons, with the Celtics having won nine of their last 10 games prior to the break. Tatum has been at the forefront of the surge, shooting nearly 5 percent better than his season average from the field over his last 10 contests (48.1, as opposed to 43.4).

On the season, Tatum is averaging 25.7 points per game -- 11th in the NBA, sixth in the Eastern Conference -- to go along with 8.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest.

Below are some of Tatum's top highlights from the 2021-22 season to date, in which the Celtics are 34-26, in sixth place in the East after a trying start to the season.

Now in his fifth NBA season, Tatum sounds like a player who wants to spend many more playing alongside Jaylen Brown, regardless of whether or not he missed out on the All-Star Game this season after making it in 2020-21.

The All-Star Game takes place on Sunday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, home of the Cleveland Cavaliers, at 8 p.m. Tatum will be playing for Team Durant and though he wasn't voted in as a starter, will be filling in for the injured Brooklyn Nets star in the starting lineup against Team LeBron.
