The 2016 NBA Draft is set to take place on Thursday, June 23rd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and CSN New England is the only local network that will capture all the action with a LIVE 4-hour show “Celtics Draft Central” beginning at 7PM. The show, which is the longest NBA Draft show in CSN network history given the excitement surrounding this year’s Draft, will also be streamed live via the NBC Sports Live Extra app.
CSN’s entire Celtics on-air talent team will be covering the evening as Celtics fans anxiously await the franchise’s next move. Celtics broadcast duo Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn will be on-site at the TD Garden manning one CSN studio set, while CSN’s Brian Scalabrine, Pre/Post-Game Live Host Kyle Draper and CSNNE.com Celtics Insider A. Sherrod Blakely will be at the TD Garden on a second CSN studio set-up. CSN’s Celtics sideline reporter Abby Chin will be on-site at the Draft in Brooklyn as all the action unfolds. Dalen Cuff and Tim Welsh will provide analysis from the CSN Burlington studios.
CSN will have viewers covered with insight and analysis throughout the evening, while taking viewer feedback via #CelticsTalk. The show will also have special behind-the-scenes access to the Celtics War Room where fans can get a feel for all the raw emotions as the NBA Draft unfolds. “Celtics Draft Central” will include live feedback from Boston Celtics Co-owner and Managing Partner of the Celtics Wyc Grousbeck and, later in the evening, Celtics Head Coach Brad Stevens who will provideanalysis on the night’s events. Additionally, President of Celtics Basketball Operations Danny Ainge will offer reaction and analysis on CSN later in theevening.
CSNNE.com will complement Draft night with real-time updates, stories and analysis throughout the evening and in-depth analysis following the conclusion of the Draft.
