BOSTON -- Isaiah Thomas has often said individual accolades only come after team success.
That was indeed the case on Monday when the NBA named Thomas as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Golden State’s Stephen Curry was honored in the West.
Boston was a perfect 4-0 for the week of games played Jan. 30-Feb. 5, extending its winning streak to seven.
Thomas led the NBA this past week in scoring with a 37.8 points-per-game average. He dished out 6.8 assists while shooting 49.4 percent from the field.
