You could argue the Boston Celtics drove LeBron James out of Cleveland (the first time) -- and that they pushed him over the edge exactly 10 years ago.
The Celtics and Cavs were tied at 2-2 in the 2010 Eastern Conference Semifinals entering Game 5 in Cleveland on May 11, 2010. What followed was 48 minutes of Celtics domination.
All five C's starters tallied double figures -- Ray Allen led the way with 25 points on six 3-pointers -- while a struggling James scored just 15 points on 3-of-14 shooting in a 120-88 Boston rout.

"James' performance in Game 5, a game his team lost by 32 points, went way beyond that of a bad game," ESPN's Brian Windhorst wrote at the time.
That loss set the wheels in motion on an NBA-altering move: The Cavs bowed out in Game 6, and James made "The Decision" to bolt for the Miami Heat later that summer.
Would LeBron have fled Cleveland if the Celtics didn't eliminate his Cavs in 2010? It's possible, but the way the C's dominated James and Co. 10 years ago certainly expedited the process.

Here are two other notable May 11 performances from the C's, who are 3-4 all-time in games played on this date:
May 11, 1991: Reggie Lewis (21 points) and Brian Shaw (19 points, eight rebounds) lead the Celtics to a convincing 115-83 road win over the Pistons, giving them a 2-1 series lead over Detroit in the East Semifinals.
May 11, 1988: Larry Bird outduels Dominique Wilkins with a 38-point effort on 15-of-25 shooting as the Celtics open the East Semifinals with a 110-101 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
