Jayson Tatum isn't one to shy away from a challenge, both on and off the court.

The Boston Celtics star proved that again Thursday when former First Lady Michelle Obama challenged him to use his platform to get people to vote in the 2020 presidential election.

"I’ll start: I’m challenging these folks to create their #VotingSquad, make a plan to vote, and challenge three friends to do it, too," Obama wrote before tagging Tatum in the post.

Tatum accepted Obama's challenge and formed a "Voting Squad" of his own.

"Challenge accepted @michelleobama," he wrote. "You already know I have my #votingsquad and we have our plan to vote!! Grab YOUR squad, make a plan and VOTE TOGETHER!"

Tatum has been vocal about social justice and the importance of voting. The 22-year-old is one of several prominent athletes who have joined Obama's voting initiative.

Election Day is Nov. 3. For more information on how to vote, go here.
