It appears Draymond Green's on-court confrontation with Kevin Durant got very personal very fast.
The two Golden State Warriors stars got into a heated back-and-forth Monday night after a botched play at the end of regulation against the Los Angeles Clippers. According to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes, who cited sources within earshot of the exchange, Green called Durant a "bitch" several times, at one point telling him, "You're a bitch and you know you're a bitch."
Per Haynes' sources, Green then told Durant something along the lines of this:
"We don’t need you. We won without you. Leave."
Yeah. That's not good.
Durant can opt of his contract and become a free agent next summer, and it sounds like one of Golden State's core players essentially told him to do just that.
Green and the Warriors did win the 2015 NBA championship without Durant, but the Warriors have been vocal about their desire to keep the superstar forward, and Green's reported comments definitely don't help the cause. Considering an unnamed Golden State player reportedly said there's "no way Durant is coming back" after Green's comments to him, it appears the writing is on the wall.

Where Durant will sign if he bolts from the Bay Area is anyone's guess, but the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks reportedly are in the running -- as are the Boston Celtics, if you ask Glen "Big Baby" Davis.
