The Boston Celtics have reportedly signed 21-year-old guard P.J. Dozier to a two-way contract, according to Sporting News' Sean Deveney:

The 6-foot-6 Dozier, a former McDonald's High School All-American, went undrafted in 2017 after helping lead South Carolina to its first Final Four appearance in program history. After getting released by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2017-18 preseason, he was signed to a two-way contract by the Oklahoma City Thunder, but spent much of his time with the team's G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, where he averaged 13 points and 5.6 rebounds in 43 games.

When Dozier finally got called up to the Thunder, as SB Nation's Andrew Doxy writes, he wore Kevin Durant's old No. 35 as an homage to his late second cousin Reggie Lewis, whose own 35 was retired by the Celtics two years after he tragically passed away in July 1993.
