ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Friday that Boston is planning to sign forward Sam Hauser and center Luke Kornet for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.
Hauser is a quality outside shooter, which addresses a weakness for the Celtics. They rank 23rd in the league in 3-point percentage. Hauser has played in 10 games for Boston this season. He's also played in 10 games for the Maine Celtics in the G-League.

Kornet played in 18 games for the Celtics last season. He played in two games for the Cleveland Cavaliers and one game for the Milwaukee Bucks earlier this season.
The Celtics will still have three more open roster spots if Hauser and Kornet both sign. These openings give Boston options to add a player or two in the buyout market.
