Report: Cavaliers have not asked for more from Celtics to complete Irving trade

The Cavaliers have not asked for additional compensation from the Celtics to complete the Kyrie Irving trade, according to Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon.

The orginal trade sending Irving to Boston for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the Nets' 2018 first-round pick was stalled due to Cleveland's concerns about Thomas' hip. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported over the weekend the Cavs are seeking more from the Celtics to complete the deal, but it appears they have yet to request more assets.

According to Yahoo Sports' Chris Mannix, there is "frustation and perplexion" from the Celtics with the trade not becoming official, and they are unwilling to part with anything more than a second-round pick if the Cavaliers do end up asking for more.
