The Boston Celtics-New York Knicks rivalry is back on.
The No. 3 seed Knicks eliminated the No. 6 seed Detroit Pistons on Thursday night to advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs, where they'll face the No. 2 seed Celtics.
Boston dispatched the Orlando Magic in Game 5 of the first round Tuesday and will have nearly a full week of rest, as Game 1 of Celtics-Knicks isn't until Monday, May 5.
