Day 3 of NBA free agency 2019 has arrived and Kawhi Leonard is the last superstar free agent still available.
The 28-year-old forward spent last season with the Toronto Raptors and led the franchise to its first NBA Finals triumph, including the second Finals MVP award of his career. The most likely landing spots for Leonard, per reports, are the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and the Raptors.
Leonard's decision likely is holding up the rest of the market. Whichever team he commits to is going to be a legit championship contender, and we could see other free agents try to join him on minimum contracts. Teams that strike out on Leonard also will need to quickly pursue other options.
