Kyrie Irving gives money to homeless fan in Houston

Kyrie Irving gave a fan a late Christmas gift according to TMZ Sports. Before playing the the Rockets Thursday night in Houston, Irving gave a homeless man $240 in cash after talking with him. 

Thomas Moreno, who fimed the video said the man was asking for assistance before Irving stopped to help. 

The man can be seen trying to chase after Irving to thank him, although the point guard is surrounded by security. He then proceeds to hug and high five people around him. 

Irving follows in Mookie Betts' footsteps of Boston stars giving to those in need. Betts provided some Boston homeless with food after a World Series game in October. 

Irving and the Celtics have not yet commented on the event.
