KG addresses C's coaching rumors as only he can


With Brad Stevens replacing Danny Ainge as the Boston Celtics' president of basketball operations, Kevin Garnett has been mentioned as a possible head coaching candidate.

It isn't difficult to see why. Garnett is one of the most beloved players in Celtics history and a newly-inducted Hall of Famer. What he lacks in coaching experience he certainly makes up for in passion and basketball IQ.

But if you wanted KG as the Celtics' next head coach, don't get your hopes up. The 2008 NBA champion took to Instagram on Wednesday to make it clear he isn't interested.

Garnett appears to be out of the question, but there are a number of intriguing candidates to take Stevens' spot. Internal candidates such as Jay Larranaga and Jerome Allen, familiar faces like Kara Lawson, and rumored possibilities such as Jason Kidd and Lloyd Pierce are just a few of the names in the running.

Regardless of who the next head coach is, an eventful offseason is ahead for this Celtics group.
