The 2019-20 Boston Celtics are intent on developing better chemistry after last season went awry.
Fortunately, four of them are getting a head start as members of Team USA's 2019 FIBA World Cup squad -- and it looks like they're taking advantage of the opportunity.
Jaylen Brown did his part to promote the new-look Celtics on Monday night, sharing an Instagram post of himself yukking it up with Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker after a Team USA practice in Melbourne, Australia.
Brown's Instagram story also featured snippets of himself playing 1-on-1 with Marcus Smart and posing for more pictures with Tatum and Walker.
Brown, Tatum and Smart are entering their third season together as Celtics teammates, while Walker is the newcomer after coming over from the Charlotte Hornets in free agency to replace Kyrie Irving.
This bonding time on Team USA obviously has helped the trio get familiar with Walker, but Brown told reporters he's also developing a stronger bond with Tatum and Smart.

"I’ve been learning a lot about the guys, even guys that I’ve played with," Brown said Tuesday, via USA Basketball. "I’ve been learning more about Marcus. I’ve been learning more about Jayson Tatum and getting to know Kemba. Even guys I’ve been playing with for two, three years now, I’m still even learning more about them, so it’s been a good experience."
The four C's players have spent nearly every waking hour together for the last couple weeks as they gear up for the FIBA World Cup in early September, so it's not surprising they've become more familiar.
That's a good sign for Celtics fans, who watched chemistry issues doom the 2018-19 squad but may have more fun watching this new-look club when its four global ambassadors return stateside.
