The Boston Celtics have absolutely dominated the Orlando Magic in the first half of their preseason game. And Jaylen Brown has been one of their best all-around players.
At the half, Brown has 9 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. He also produced a number of highlight plays in the first half, including a thunderous one-handed dunk he threw down late in the second half after he stole the ball.
Here's a look at the steal and dunk via the Celtics official Twitter account.
The dunk wasn't Brown's only strong play in the half. He was able to show off some ball-handling moves on a number of possessions. At one point, he was able to sink a nifty lefthanded shot and he also went between the legs on a breakaway lay-in midway through the second quarter.
Brown's performance in the first half has certainly been encouraging. It will be interesting to see if he can continue producing in the second half, though he may not play much with the Celtics leading the Magic, 62-34.
Either way, Brown did a lot to showcase his improvement so far this preseason. And if he can play like this during the regular season, he could earn a lucrative contract extension as a restricted free agent.
