Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown was having an excellent game Friday night against the Houston Rockets when he was forced to exit in the fourth quarter with what the team called a left knee contusion.
Fortunately for Brown and the Celtics, it sounds like he'll be fine.
C's head coach Brad Stevens provided a positive update on Brown's condition after Boston's 118-102 win at TD Garden.

Brown departed after scoring 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in 27 minutes of action. He was seen limping in the hallway outside the locker room after leaving the court, but the update from Stevens certainly comes as a relief given the 24-year-old's importance to the team's success.
Earlier in the game, Brown delivered one the best highlights of the Celtics season when he posterized Rockets forward Kenyon Martin Jr. with a powerful dunk.
Brown is averaging a career-high 24.5 points per game this season. He made his first career All-Star Game appearance in February.
