Jaylen Brown in, Romeo Langford out for C's vs. Mavs

Romeo Langford's season debut has been put on hold for at least one more game.

The Boston Celtics guard has officially been ruled out for Wednesday night's matchup vs. the Dallas Mavericks due to "post- health and safety protocol reconditioning." He was listed as questionable on Tuesday's injury report.

Wrist surgery rehab, followed by health and safety protocols, have prevented Langford from seeing the court to this point in the season. While Langford's first game of the campaign will have to wait, C's head coach Brad Stevens recently issued a positive update on the 21-year-old's status, so we should see him make his season debut sooner rather than later.

The good news for Boston is Jaylen Brown will be available after missing Monday's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans with a left hip contustion. As for Semi Ojeleye (left side strain) and Tristan Thompson (health and safety protocols), they will remain sidelined.

The Celtics are scheduled to take on the Mavs at 7:30 p.m. ET. Be sure to tune in to Celtics Pregame Live at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports Boston for a complete preview of the matchup.
