After experiencing a scary fall in the fourth quarter of the Celtics' road loss to the Mavericks Saturday, Jaylen Brown won't play Monday night in New Orleans.
Brown's X-ray's came back negative, but by the look of the fall it isn't surprising the third-year wing will sit out.
“I’m hanging in there,” said Brown. ”I just know I fell, hit my back … X-rays were negative, so that’s good.”
It is not clear how much time Brown will miss with this bruise, but hopefully it does not linger for the rest of the season. The Celtics have plenty of things to worry about other than health.
