Gordon Hayward's NBA peers send well-wishes after Celtics star's latest injury

Gordon Hayward just can't catch a break.

The Boston Celtics star was on a tear to begin the 2019-20 season, only to suffer another setback during Saturday's win over the Spurs. Hayward fractured his left hand after colliding with Spurs big man LaMarcus Aldridge in the second quarter.

A couple of Hayward's NBA peers -- Cavaliers forward Kevin Love and Nuggets guard Jamal Murray -- reacted to the injury on Twitter and sent their well-wishes Hayward's way.

Hayward's teammate Jayson Tatum took to Instagram to let him know he'll be back better than ever.

Obviously, this is a devastating blow to a Celtics team that's been rolling as of late. The C's improved to 7-1 on Saturday, but Hayward's absence will hand them their first real test of the 2019-20 campaign.

There's currently no timetable for Hayward's return. He'll see a specialist on Monday to determine whether surgery is needed.
