Exactly who are the 2019-20 Boston Celtics?
It's a question worth asking after Boston prioritized chemistry over talent this offseason, shipping out Kyrie Irving, Al Horford, Marcus Morris, Terry Rozier and Aron Baynes while bringing in Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter.
That strategy could go any number of ways -- and the same can be said on the fantasy basketball front. How will Kemba Walker adapt to a lighter offensive load? Can Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown finally take the next step?
In an attempt to answer those questions, we went through the top seven players on the roster and declared them either "overvalued" or "undervalued" based on where they're currently being drafted in Yahoo fantasy basketball leagues.
Fantasy Basketball 2019 draft prep
Best sleepers to target | Potential busts to avoid | Top rookies in fantasy | 10-team mock draft
Kemba Walker, PG (Average Draft Position on Yahoo!: 17.6)
Walker was the 12th-best player in fantasy last season, averaging 25.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists while dragging the Hornets to 39 wins. Suffice it to say his usage will dip significantly on a well-balanced Celtics team.

Walker's shooting percentages and assist rate could increase with a smaller sample size, and he's a safe bet to be a top-30 player. But 17th overall seems a hair high given the talent of the position.
VERDICT: Overvalued
Jayson Tatum, SF/PF (ADP: 39.9)
Will Tatum make "the leap" in his third NBA season? The mechanisms are in place, as the departures of Kyrie Irving and Marcus Morris should give the 21-year-old more space to operate offensively. He's also worked to kick his long-two habit, which could result in an improved shooting percentage and more 3-pointers.
A healthy Gordon Hayward limits Tatum's ceiling somewhat, but all signs point to a breakout campaign. Add in his power forward eligibility, and we like Tatum as a top-30 pick.
VERDICT: Undervalued
Gordon Hayward, SG/SF (ADP: 76.9)
Hayward remains the hardest guy in Boston to peg. He and the Celtics are adamant he's back to his old self after a frustrating 2018-19 campaign (11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game) but he won't be putting up 20 every night like he did in Utah.
Our guess? Hayward hovers around 15 points per game, improves on his .466 shooting percentage and fills out the stat sheet to be a solid, mid-to-late-round contributor.
VERDICT: Properly valued
Enes Kanter, C (ADP: 96.9)
The Celtics' most active Twitter user may see a decrease in scoring with more mouths to feed in Boston. But he should be the leading rebounder in a thin frontcourt and easily could average a double-double with a high shooting percentage.
That said, there are at least 30 centers worthy of taking over Kanter, so we'd probably hold off until the early 100s.
VERDICT: Overvalued
Marcus Smart, PG/SG (ADP: 99.6)
Too bad "winning plays" aren't a fantasy stat. Smart's real-life impact has always outweighed his value, but he still can boost your steals numbers (T-seventh in the NBA last season) while averaging just under five assists per game.
Like Kanter, we see Smart going in the low 100s.
VERDICT: Overvalued
Jaylen Brown, SG/SF (ADP: 117.4)
We understand Brown regressed a bit last season and his game isn't very fantasy-friendly. But 117th? Really?
The 22-year-old is entering a "prove it" season (especially if he doesn't sign an extension) and easily could average north of 15 points per game now that arch-nemesis Kyrie Irving is gone. We'd bump him ahead of Smart on draft boards.
VERDICT: Undervalued
Tacko Fall, C (ADP: 124.4)
TackoMania officially has jumped the shark. Seriously: This guy is on a two-way contract that limits him to a maximum of 45 days with the Celtics. In reality, he'll probably spend the majority of the season with the Maine Red Claws.
The one upshot: He allows you to pick any number of punny team names.
VERDICT: Overvalued
