Enes Kanter tweets positive message after Celtics preseason win

The Boston Celtics are off to a good start in the 2019 NBA preseason. The team was able to hold off the Charlotte Hornets in their preseason opener, rallying from a 15-point deficit to eke out a 107-106 win.

The Celtics seemed to play together very well considering all of the new talent that they have on the team. They had their share of issues, but that was to be expected in their first game together.

One thing that stood out was the attitude of the team. Throughout the first preseason game, the Celtics bench seemed energized and invested in the contest. And when on the floor, the players were certainly smiling and had a little extra pep in their collective step.

After the game, the messages from the Celtics locker room were generally positive. And veteran center Enes Kanter had a great message for the team and fans after the contest, per his official Twitter account.

This is certainly a good sign for the Celtics. The team had major chemistry issues last season and never really seemed to have any fun on the court. Every game was a struggle. And as Kanter has observed, that may not be the case this year.

If the Celtics can keep the energy up and continue to build chemistry, they will be much more fun to watch this year at the very least. And if winning comes with that, both the team and the fans will be ecstatic.
