Dont'a Hightower surely didn't like the scoreline while watching the first half of Game 2 between the Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls. But he loved what he was seeing from Marcus Smart.

The New England Patriots linebacker attended the game at TD Garden, and tweeted his support for Smart.

Hightower wrote on Twitter during the second quarter that Smart played with "so much energy!"

Smart finished the first half with six points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal in 16 minutes. He was also plus-4, and hit three of his four shots from the field. He brought a fiesty presence on offense and defense.

Hightower was in attenance with a gang of Patriots teammates including Eric Rowe, Kyle Van Noy, Elandon Roberts, Cameron Fleming and Brandon King.
