After losing three straight to the Boston Celtics in their playoff series, the Chicago Bulls are in hot water. And yet after their latest loss to the Celtics in Game 5 on Wednesday, they didn't have any.
Bulls guard Dwyane Wade informed his teammates they didn't have hot water in their locker room at TD Garden, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.
Where have we seen this before?
Former Celtics coach Red Auerbach got accused of cutting off the hot water in visitors' locker room at the old Boston Garden in the 1980s.
Did the Celtics take a page out of his book after taking the lead in a fierce series that's had a lot of chirping, chatter and smack talk?
Even if the Celtics had no hand in the hot water malfunction -- which is the most likely scenario -- the ghost of Auerbach is alive.
