The Boston Celtics have gotten off to a great start in the preseason, opening the campaign with a 2-0 record. They recently dominated the Orlando Magic on the road, playing suffocating defense and leading by 20-plus points for almost all of their 100-75 victory.
The Celtics were able to win in convincing fashion despite being without marquee offseason acquisition, Kemba Walker. The free-agent signee missed the contest with some minor knee soreness, and he was mostly being held out as a precaution.
In the Celtics' third preseason outing, and final home contest of their four-game preseason, they'll be taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs are 1-1 so far this preseason and are coming off a 109-105 loss to the Detroit Pistons. Second-year point guard Collin Sexton led the team in scoring with 24 points and his speed and athleticism should provide a nice test for the Celtics.
