Celtics' Kyrie Irving unveils awesome new sneaker for Christmas Day game

Kyrie Irving wears some of the coolest sneakers in the NBA, and the Boston Celtics guard is wearing a very special pair in his team's Christmas Day matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.

In collaboration with Concepts, Irving has unveiled the new NIKE KYRIE 5 "Ikhet."

Releasing on Christmas Day, the KYRIE 5 "Ikhet" pays homage to Irving's deep fascination with ancient Egypt's culture, and the mysterious construction of the pyramids. This sneaker features design references to the original appearance of the Sphinx and Kyrie's own "all-seeing eye" Hamsa tattoo.

Take a look at the awesome sneaker in the video below.

These sneakers can be purchased at the TD Garden Pro Shop and CNCPTS.com.

Irving is in the midst of another stellar season for the Celtics. He leads the team in scoring with 22.7 points per game and in assists at 6.4 per contest.
