The Boston Celtics will look to make it four in a row as they host the New York Knicks Friday night, but they'll likely have to do it with a few key players out with injuries and illness.

Jaylen Brown, who missed the victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, is still sick, and C's coach Brad Stevens said he's doubtful while Robert Williams is also doubtful with a left hip injury.

Brown is averaging 17.3 points, 2.0 assists and 6.7 total rebounds per game this season while shooting 50 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from beyond the arc. Williams is averaging 4.3 points, 2.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.

Brown, 23, has been an instrumental part of Boston's success over his four-year career -- improving his statistics each year since the 2016-17 season. While Williams' shot-blocking has drawn most of the attention, he hasn't made much of an impact yet offensively for the C's, Boston exercised his $2.03 million team option for 2020-21, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
