The Boston Celtics will look to make it five straight tonight when they face the Cleveland Cavaliers, and they'll have to do so without a few members of their squad.

Jaylen Brown will miss his third straight game with an unspecified illness. However, he did practice in Boston on Monday but stayed behind and worked out on his own Tuesday. Brad Stevens told the media ahead of Tuesday night's game that there "is a shot" Brown will play Thursday against the Charlotte Hornets.

Brown hasn't missed nearly as much time as Enes Kanter, who will remain out of the lineup after suffering a left knee contusion in Boston's season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers nearly two weeks ago. Stevens says Kanter just isn't ready for game action yet.

But while he isn't 100 percent, Kanter has been going through contact drills and trying to stay in shape during an extended period of game absence.

The Celtics have the opportunity to start the season 5-1 for the first time since the 2010-11 season -- they'll look to continue their dominance against the Cavs from last season tonight in Cleveland.
