ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Boston Celtics will be mixing and matching their lineups throughout the preseason, but that has nothing to do with Kemba Walker's absence tonight.
Celtics coach Brad Stevens said Walker has had some knee inflammation and will be held out of tonight's game against the Orlando Magic.
"He was good for shoot-around," Stevens said. "He's had a little bit of knee flame up this week. No reason to push it tonight. He should be good to practice tomorrow."
Stevens said the starting lineup tonight will be Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward and Daniel Theis.
