BOSTON – The Celtics will open a seven-game 2015 preseason schedule on Tuesday, Oct. 6 against Olimpia Milano in Milan, Italy, before taking on Real Madrid in Madrid, Spain, on Thursday, Oct. 8 as part of the NBA Global Games Europe 2015.
The preseason schedule also includes contests against Atlantic Division rivals Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks. The team will travel to New York to face the Nets on Wednesday, Oct. 14 and Knicks on Friday, Oct. 16. The Celtics will then host the Nets and Knicks at the TD Garden on Monday, Oct, 19 and Thursday, Oct. 22. Tickets for preseason games played at TD Garden will go on sale in September.
The Celtics will close out preseason play against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H., on Friday, Oct. 23. Tickets for the Manchester game will be available on Friday, Aug. 28 starting at noon by visiting Ticketmaster.com.
