The Celtics continue to look for answers during their slow start to the season.
Should Marcus Smart stay in the starting lineup? Should the C's bring in a proven veteran? Is there simply too much peanut butter on this team right now?
Wait, what?
Yes, you read that correctly. Too much peanut butter. Cedric Maxwell made the perfect analogy comparing the Celtics to a PB&J sandwich with too much peanut butter on Wednesday night's Early Edition.
"This is one team that has too much talent," Maxwell said. "What happens when you put too much peanut butter on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? It ain't good no more. It ain't that good. But you have so much talent on this team that I think they have to shift it and find a way to get other people involved."
The Celtics hope to build off their win in New Orleans and evenly distribute the peanut butter and jelly Friday night when they take on the Cavaliers.
