Halloween seems to never be dull in the Stevens' household.
Once Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens got word of South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg's costume, he knew he needed to return the favor. As Buttigieg dressed up as Stevens, the C's bench boss said he didn't necessarily want to dress up as the mayor, but he did anyway because he was pressured by his wife to do so.
"I got [Buttigieg’s tweet of him in a Brad Stevens costume] shared with me so my wife [Tracy], who has a political science background, and a couple of her friends put a little heat on me yesterday to throw on a blue tie and act political as I was handing out candy,” Stevens said.
Naturally, Tracy Stevens tweeted out the photo of her husband donning mayor-like gear and it instantly blew up.
But, did he like becoming a social media wonder overnight? It didn't seem to bug him.
"She’s just trying to get her followers up. I don’t care," the Celtics coach said. "No, it’s funny when it came across my phone that he did that.”

Who wore it better, though? Stevens didn't seem too confident in his attire to dub himself the winner over the Democratic presidential candidate. The two Indiana natives bear a striking resemblance to each other and have become friends.
"I’m not good at fashion, so I’d say that I never wear it better.”
Fortunately for Stevens, he won't need to sport a political outfit to TD Garden Friday night as the C's host the New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET.
