Brad Stevens: Kemba Walker (knee) will play vs Cavs today

BOSTON -- Kemba Walker, the Boston Celtics’ prized offseason acquisition, will return to the Celtics lineup today against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Walker, acquired via sign-and-trade from Charlotte in the offseason, did not play in Boston’s 100-75 preseason win over Orlando due to left knee soreness.

The Celtics had Walker’s status for today’s game listed as questionable, but head coach Brad Stevens said prior to tip-off that Walker will be in the starting unit today.
