Al Horford and Marcus Morris expected to start, Horford on a minute restriction

BOSTON -- Barring an unexpected last-minute development, the Boston Celtics will be as close to being complete as we’ve seen in weeks.

Al Horford (patellofemoral pain syndrome, left knee) and Marcus Morris (knee soreness) are both expected back in the starting lineup, according to Celtics head coach Brad Stevens.

Their return comes at a time when the Celtics (18-13) are trying to snap a three-game losing streak.

“Al will be with (minutes) restrictions,” said Stevens who added that Horford will play with some sort of minutes restriction.

That means Daniel Theis, who filled in as a starter in the absence of Horford and Aron Baynes (fractured left metacarpal injury will keep him out for at least a month), will continue to see solid minutes off the bench.

Horford has missed the last seven games with his injury, while Morris was sidelined for two games.
