Perhaps Ainge wanted a front-row seat to the Yam Madar show. After all, he recently said the Celtics "love" the progress the 20-year-old has made since being selected in the second round of the 2020 NBA Draft.
It's no surprise to see Ainge taking in C's action with Stevens and Udoka. Ainge was the Celtics' GM for 18 years (2003-21) before passing the torch to Stevens. He is the only Celtic in franchise history to win championships as both a player and an executive.
While he's no longer employed by the team, there's no question as to whether Ainge still bleeds Celtics green.
