The Boston Red Sox-New York Yankees rivalry never takes a day off.

Mookie Betts was in the Big Apple on Saturday to accept his American League MVP award at the Baseball Writers' Association of America dinner. The Red Sox outfielder couldn't resist mentioning sweet it was to celebrate his accomplishments -- and those of the World Series champion Sox -- in enemy territory.

If Betts got any boos for those remarks, it sounds like he embraced them.
