WATCH: Kevin Plawecki robbed of extra bases by George Springer

Kevin Plawecki has gotten off to a cool start at the plate this season for the Boston Red Sox, but don't blame him for this one.

After hitting .305 over 239 at-bats over the last two seasons, Plawecki had only one hit in his first 10 at-bats of the season entering Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He should've had his second -- and first extra-base hit -- in the top of the fifth inning at the Rogers Centre, but Blue Jays center fielder Kevin Plawecki had other ideas.

Red Sox place two on restricted list ahead of Blue Jays series in Toronto

Not much to do other than tip your cap for that one.

Springer, a Connecticut native, is best known for his bat, having won a pair of Silver Slugger awards with the Houston Astros. But he's always had a solid glove as well, and his robbery of Plawecki is certainly among his finest highlights from the field.
