The 2022 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium was not very exciting.

The National League scored twice in the first inning and didn't produce any more runs. The American League took a 3-2 lead with three runs in the fourth inning. Neither team scored after that.

FOX Sports did its best to create some excitement, and who better to do that than David Ortiz?

The Boston Red Sox legend actually took a tour of the AL dugout, talking with guys in the batter's box and the dugout. The scene included Ortiz asking AL manager Dusty Baker if he could go in the game, plus several conversations with players.

Check it out in the video below:

Ortiz is no stranger to the All-Star experience. He was selected to 10 All-Star Games during his 14 years with the Red Sox.

The three-time World Series champion will receive another special honor later this month when he's inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
