Shaughnessy: Red Sox have to think about '16 and '17

With the Red Sox' playoff hopes quickly evaporating, there have been a lot ideas tossed around as to what they should do for the remainder of 2015.

Hanley Ramirez to first base? A Cole Hamels trade? Try to trade Hanley and Pablo Sandoval?

Dan Shaughnessy doesn't care what they do, as long as they forget about salvaging 2015 and have the future in mind.

"You've got to be thinking of '16 and '17 now," said Shaughnessy. "Stop playing Shane Victorino, Mike Napoli and Daniel Nava was just called up. Are you kidding me? I want to see Allen Craig if we have to. He's under contract for two more years, find out what you've got. Castillo, let's go… They need to see what they have right now."
