The bad luck keeps piling up for the 2015 Boston Red Sox.
According to Alex Speier of the Boston Globe, rookie pitcher Brian Johnson will be placed on the disabled list with elbow tightness and will be evaluated further in the coming days.
The lefty made his Major League debut on July 21 against the Houston Astros, giving up 4 earned runs on 3 hits in 4 1/3 innings pitched.
