Red Sox vs. Orioles lineups: Mookie Betts gets a day off

After splitting their four-game series in Texas, the Red Sox are on to Baltimore where they'll begin a three-game set vs. the lowly Orioles.

It'll be hard-throwing southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound for Boston with Christian Vazquez catching. E-Rod will look to fare better than he did in his last start, when he allowed seven hits and four runs in 5 2/3 innings pitched vs. the Rays.

Mookie Betts gets the day off with J.D. Martinez taking his spot in right field. Eduardo Nuñez will be the DH.

The Red Sox also announced Friday that right-hander Brian Johnson has been activated from the injured list. Sam Travis was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket to make room for Johnson on the roster.
