David Price might want to keep playing Fortnite with Nathan Eovaldi.
Price told the free agent pitcher Tuesday night on a Twitch stream that he "better be re-signing" with the Boston Red Sox. But according to MLB Network's Jon Morosi, the Red Sox have some competition for Eovaldi's services.
Interestingly, the Houston Astros weren't on a recent list of nine teams reportedly in on Eovaldi. But their pursuit of the veteran right-hander -- a Houston area native -- makes sense, as general manager Jeff Luhnow and executive advisor Nolan Ryan will be looking to load up again after Boston bounced Houston in this year's American League Championship Series.
Eovaldi turns 29 in February, but his stock took a huge jump after a stellar postseason capped by a legendary six-inning relief effort in Game 3 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The fireballer also pitched well in the regular season, sporting a 3.33 ERA for Boston down the stretch with 48 strikeouts in 54 innings.
