Minihane: 'No chance' Buchholz pitches again this year

Have we seen the last of Clay Buchholz in 2015?

Red Sox manager John Farrell told reporters on Wednesday that Buchholz received a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection in his elbow from Dr. James Andrews.

John Farrell didn't rule Buchholz out for the season, but Mirk Minihane doesn't expect to see the 30-year-old starter to take the mound again this season.

"That happened to Brandon Workman, two months later he had Tommy John," said Minihane. "I think there is no chance of [him pitching]. None… He's done. Goodbye. See you later."
