David Price is once again taking (and responding to) the heat on Twitter.
The latest occurrence came when a fan tweeted about dressing up as a playoff start for Halloween to scare the pitcher.
That’s actually a pretty solid burn, since the postseason has not been kind to Price. In 15 playoffs appearances (nine starts), Price has a 5.54 ERA and a 2-8 record.
That record is a bit deceiving, however, as both of his playoff wins have come in relief. In nine career postseason games started, Price is 0-8.
Price took something of a measured approach to the tweet, as he both pointed out the criticism he recieves and reiterated previous comments about wanting to make Red Sox fans come around on him.
