The 2018 Red Sox keep on racking up the accolades.
Dave Dombrowski has been named MLB Executive Of the Year by Baseball America. It's his second time earning the award, his first being in 2006 while serving as general manager of the Detroit Tigers.
Dombrowski made several moves in 2018 that paid off during the Sox' World Series run, including but certainly not limited to signing J.D. Martinez, trading for Steve Pearce and Nathan Eovaldi, and re-signing Mitch Moreland.
The Red Sox GM is just the latest member of the 2018 club to take home an individual award this offseason. Mookie Betts was named American League MVP and won both Silver Slugger and Gold Glove awards for good measure. Martinez also won a Silver Slugger, and both Jackie Bradley Jr. and Ian Kinsler earned Gold Gloves of their own.
