Celtics' Terry Rozier leaves Pacers game early with illness

INDIANAPOLIS -- Celtics guard Terry Rozier was unable to return to the floor in the second half the game Friday night against Indiana due to what the team described as an “illness.”

Rozier, who plays primarily as Kyrie Irving’s backup, played seven minutes in the first half while scoring three points on 1-for-2 shooting with one assist.

In Rozier’s time on the floor Friday night, the Celtics had a plus/minus of +7.

Picking up his minutes in the second half was Brad Wanamaker who played five minutes, had two points and like Rozier had a plus/minus of +7.

After the game, Celtics coach Brad Stevens said Rozier was taken to the hospital to be given fluids intravenously.
