Marc Bertrand joined Sports Tonight give to give his opinion on whether or not he thinks David Ortiz is ready to pass the torch.
“What I hope is it doesn’t become this distraction, it doesn’t become ‘this thing’ that the team the team has to pay attention to,” said Bertrand. “There’s going to be the ceremonies where they roll out the stupid gifts. That, to me, is kind of annoying. That can get real old real quick.”
