A little rain couldn't deter Red Sox ace Chris Sale from playing catch at Fenway Park

The rainy weather in Boston was enough to postpone Monday night's game between the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers, but it wasn't enough to prevent Chris Sale from getting some throws in at Fenway Park.

The Red Sox ace was seen playing catch in the Fenway Park concourse shortly after the official announcement of Monday night's postponement. Check out the video below:

Sale was scheduled to start Monday night. It would have been his fifth start of the season. He has struggled in 2019, posting an 0-4 record with an 8.50 ERA, 14 strikeouts and five walks over 18 innings.

The 30-year-old veteran will instead pitch the first game of Tuesday's day-night doubleheader versus the Tigers. The first game is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET.
